"15 as 1" - A Rugby Primer for Women

The Vancouver Rogues Rugby Club, in partnership with the BC Rugby Union and ProMotion Plus (www.promotionplus.org), presents an introduction to rugby for women. On April 1st, become part of the fastest growing women's sport in the country. No prior experience necessary... and it's all FREE.

Join the Rogues twice a week for 4 weeks and learn the basics of the game through drills, practice, video training and trips to see live matches. Meet new people and find out why rugby is a game that sticks with us for the rest of our lives.

The new "15 as 1" program has been developed specifically for women. It's aimed at beginner/novice players, and players who may have played before but have been inactive for some time. If you've always thought about picking up the game or you've been thinking about getting back into it, this is the right program for you.

Neither your current skill level nor your current fitness level is a factor. The goal of "15 as 1" is to transform the “group of many” into a team of players who can work together as one.

For more information please contact the Rogues Women's Player Liaison Margaret Inoue. Margaret can be reached at margaret@roguesrugby.ca or by phone at (604) 742-1862. Or, drop in at one of our info events this month and meet some of the Rogues. We're at the Fountainhead (1025 Davie) on March 26th from 2 - 5PM and at Bimini's Tap House (2010 West 4th) on March 30th from 6 - 9PM.
